The Jandy CS100 has 100 square feet of filtration area.
As part of the CS series product line, this pool filter utilizes a single cartridge element designed to provide the same filtration quality as the larger tank Jandy filter models in a smaller package. The compact size of the Jandy CS100 makes it ideal for smaller equipment areas. With its ergonomic lid handles, compact design, and easy to remove single cartridge element, the Jandy CS100 is ideal for the standard sized residential pool.

- Re-designed air relief valve is now 1/2" in diameter which is double the original size to allow much faster air release

Filtration Design:
The Jandy CS100 filtration design is a design that is similar to the Hayward Star Clear filtration design. It has the cartridge bottom endcap fit tightly on a central standpipe that connects to the water outflow piping and goes up through the center of the filter. The filter lid also acts as a plug for the top end of the filter with it's plastic extrusion that fits in the endcap. This design creates the hydraulic pressure that drives the filtration of the Jandy CS100. Water comes in from the side inflow pipe spreading the water more evenly over the filter cartridge 100 sq. ft. surface area. Hydraulic pressure in the filter tank then forces the water thru the filter cartridge and in to the central standpipe inside the filter cartridge forcing it down thru the outflow pipe at the bottom, back in to the pool. An ingenius solution optimizing hydraulic pressure and filtration inside the filter tank with a rather simple design.
