The Sta-Rite S8M150 is part of the line up of the System 3 filter series, containing 450 square feet of total filter area. Sta-Rite S8M150 Filtration Design:
Sta-rite System 3 filtration is centered around two cartridge modules that combine a cartridge and water collecting manifold in one product. The design has the water collection manifold inside and between the inner and outer pleats of the cartridge modules. The Sta-rite S8M150 design is the most efficient filtration design on the market using both the outside filter fabric surface area as well as the fabric surface area seen in the filter center core of both modules offering an incredible 450 sq. ft. of total filter fabric surface area.
Hydraulic pressure inside the filter tank forces the inflowing water over the entire surface area of the cartridge modules forcing the water thru the filter fabric on all sides into the water collection module down through the fitting that connects to the water outflow pipe sending only clean, filtered water back to the pool. A unique design combining a filter cartridge and clean water collection manifold in one cartridge module.
