Original Filter pressure gauge for the Hayward SwimClear and ProGrid series of filters. Part number ECX2712B1.
- Primary Function: Accurately measures the water pressure inside the filter, allowing pool owners to monitor the filter's condition and determine when cleaning or backwashing is needed.
- The gauge provides a visual display of the filter's internal water pressure in PSI (pounds per square inch)
- As the filter gets clogged with debris, the water pressure increases inside the filter.
- Monitoring the filter pressure for when it gets above the normal operating range indicates that it is time to clean your filter cartridges. Likewise, for DE or sand filter, this indicates it is time to do a backwash.
