All the Major Swimming Pool Equipment Suppliers continued Raising Prices in October 2024
We have received price increase notifications from our suppliers that the big three pool equipment makers in the U.S. , Hayward, Pentair, and Zodiac, have AGAIN raised their prices effective October 1, 2024. Additionally, many other pool equipment makers such as Unicel, Pleatco, Harmsco, Waterway and Super-Pro have also followed suit and raised prices. As of today, October 19, 2024, we have applied the various product increases.
These increases just keep coming even after the unprecedented recent increases we saw during COVID.
Annual price increases by the various pool equipment manufacturers are not uncommon. However, what is uncommon is that just about all of them raised prices multiple times a year during COVID. Over the past 10 years or so, we have observed that price increases are not necessarily annual. Some years, certain manufacturers would not raise their prices while others did. Manufacturers like Unicel and Pleatco were observed raising their prices much less frequently than Hayward, Pentair, and Zodiac. Centurion Motors also seems to raise their prices almost every year.
We here at All Pool Filters 4 Less wanted to get the word out so people are not sticker shocked in 2024 when they see many items have again had price increases.
