POOL FILTER MAINTENANCE TIP
It's hot and it's time to keep cool in the swimming pool. Is your pool water green or cloudy? Take a water sample to the local pool store to ensure your water has all the proper chemicals. After that if there's still a problem, it's a good bet that your POOL FILTER may need cleaning or replacement. Turn off the pool pump and open up your filter. For a DE filter check to ensure there are no tears in the DE Grids. For a cartridge filter, check the pressure gauge (should be 10-14 if OK) and the filter to see if it's dirty and clean it off if necessary. If after cleaning the pressure doesn't go down to the 10-14 range it's probably time for a new pool filter.
